According to Regulation (EU) 2019/1009, EU fertilizing products must comply with the requirements of the Regulation before being placed on the EU market. Manufacturers shall ensure that their products meet the safety requirements. A Notified Body must be involved in the conformity assessment procedures in case of certain EU fertilizing products. Our testing and certification scope covers all the EU fertilizing products of the Regulation.

Conformity assessment procedure to CE mark

The conformity assessment procedures under Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 may be chosen by the manufacturers:  

Module A – internal production control

Module A1 – internal production control plus supervised product testing

Module B – EU type examination followed by Module C – conformity to type based on internal production control

Module D1 – quality assurance of the production process

 

(*) except PFC 1(C)(I)(a)(i-ii)(A) (ammonium nitrate fertiliser of high nitrogen content), for which Module A1 is mandatory.

(**) except PFC 7 with 28% or more of nitrogen from a fertiliser belonging to PFC 1(C)(I)(a)(i-ii)(A) (ammonium nitrate fertiliser of high nitrogen content), for which Module A1 is mandatory.
