Participate the webinar to discover which materials will be eligible for CE marking in compliance with the CMC10 category
The CMC10 webinar will cover the details of the amendment of CMC10 component material category according to (EU)2019/1009 Regulation, which will be adopted this summer. It is beneficial to pay attention to this issue now and start compiling the necessary documentation for the certification procedure, since all NOBOs are expected to face capacity shortages after the amendment comes into force.
After the CMC10 amendment will become into legal force even processed manure can be used as a component in EU fertilisers, if it meets the hygienisation and analytical requirements of the CMC10.
In practice it means that CE marked products containing processed manure can be freely marketed in all EU member states without the need for certification by each individual country’s authorities!
The amendment of the processed manure component of the EU Fertiliser Regulation, which is scheduled to come into force in July 2024, will introduce several new requirements to the existing Regulation.
Preventing the spread of invasive and other weed species in processed manure, the Regulation establishes further manufacturing procedures and parameters to ensure the weed seed free status of materials classified under CMC10.
In addition, the new amendment addresses the possible origin of manure, mandatory physical treatments, content elements of laboratory tests and post-processing storage requirements as well. Our webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of these aspects, ensuring clarity and transparency for companies.
In our online presentation, Dr Ildikó Varga and Dorottya Lőrincz – experienced experts from CerTrust – will help you understand the Regulation and the steps necessary to obtain CE marking for EU fertilisers containing animal by-products. The webinar will be lead by Dr Gábor Tőkés (independent consultant) having high expertise in agricultural input materials.

Our areas of expertise include the certification of EU fertilisers, biostimulants, AN fertilisers, animal by-products and the auditing of quality management systems for manufacturers of EU fertilisers derived from different input materials.
Our CE certification ensures the ability to market throughout the European Union and we prioritise speed of certification to avoid delays in market entry.
ldikó had studied plant protection and agricultural microbiology before she obtained her PhD in Agricultural Sciences in 2013. In her early carreer she was participating in different biopesticide development projects as an agricultural microbiological researcher.
She implemented in open-field trials as well as microbiological and in vitro laboratory tests in those years when she was developing microbial and other natural-originated biostimulants.
According to her thoughts, sustainable agricultural practice could only be successful with high quality input materials. Thus, in 2022 she joined CerTrust Ltd. as an expert to contribute to the conformity procedures of organic originated EU fertilisers, especially plant biostimulants.
She is working for CerTrust Ltd for more, then 2 years and has experiences with more than a hundred assessment procedures for fertilizing products from almost all the categories that are listed in the FPR.
She is strongly experienced in module B and module D1 assessment procedures as well. She knows the typical pitfalls of the most common product categories, and the solutions for them as well.
Our company – CerTrust Ltd- is a notified body with full scope for the FPR, which means that we are accredited for all the PFC,CMC categories and modules listed in the Regulation. The motto of CerTrust shows the main features of our working style: dynamism, energetics, excellence.
If you are interested in certifying your CMC 10 containing product, this webinar will give you the needed information from our professional experts about this interesting topic.
He graduated as Biological Engineer from the Budapest Technical University. He gained his University doctor title at the Agricultural University of Gödöllő, in the topic of Growth regulators in cereal production.
Gábor organized the system for efficacy trials of plant growth regulators in the Hungarian plant protection network. He edited the Hungarian guidance for growth regulators and fertilizers, and for 20 years he coordinated the Hungarian efficacy trials of such products. Since the first proposals he actively took part in the discussions about the new PPP authorization regulation (1107/2009 EC).
Between 2010 – 2021 Gábor worked as the head of the Authorization of PPPs and Yield Enhancers in Hungary, and he was member of the EU Post Approval Issues expert group and the Fertilizer Committee. Since 2022 he works as independent expert of authorization issues. In 2023 he was nominated as Hungarian member of ECHA SEAC (Committee for Socio-Economic Analysis).
I studied Biology in the University of Athens in Greece and I have a PhD in Biological Sciences. Working as a researcher for 15 years I was involved in several projects, dealing with the environemntal microbiology with a focus on the occurrence and transfer of antibiotic resistance in natural ecosystems.
I joined DG GROW in 2018 and since then I am responsible for the implementation and development of the fertilising products Regulation, incuding standardisation. I am also following the development of other legislative acts relevant to the fertilising products file such as the animal by-products Regulation, waste legislations, the REACH restrictions, Nitrates Directive and SAIO (Statistics on Agricultural Input and Output).
Recently, I am also following the revision of the the detergents and I am responsible for the negotiations of this file with the EP and the Council.
